Found by a metal detectorist, the ring likely belonged to a wealthy, possibly royal, owner, said Noonans.
Frederick Goldman Builds Up Jewelry Solutions Team
The manufacturer created Jewelry Solutions Group earlier this year to produce custom jewelry fast.

Secaucus, N.J.—Earlier this year, Frederick Goldman Inc. announced the creation of its Jewelry Solutions Group, and, now, two manufacturing veterans have joined the team.
Donna DeLucia has been named senior director of technical sales. She previously worked at fine jewelry manufacturer John C. Nordt and precious metals company LeachGarner.
In a press release, Frederick Goldman noted DeLucia’s “extensive product knowledge” and “ability to forge deep customer relationships.”
John Badee, meanwhile, has joined Jewelry Solutions Group as director of manufacturing and engineering. Prior to this, he was general manager at manufacturer Riva Precision.
Frederick Goldman CEO Jonathan Goldman said: “We are extremely fortunate to retain John and Donna as we expand our On Demand and OEM customer base and product offering.
“This is a fast-growing segment of our business that has been universally, and enthusiastically, accepted by our customers. Quick-make, inventory light, high-quality, and on demand products satisfies the needs of all retailers today. We look forward to great things from Donna and John as the Jewelry Solutions Group scales under the leadership of our COO, John Orrico.”
Jewelry Solutions Group manufactures custom-ordered jewelry and was created in an effort to provide customers with special orders fast, aiming to get orders to the customer in one week.
Orrico said in a statement at the time of its creation: “We found that the market has a need for fast, on-demand solutions that are not typically offered by suppliers.”
