Piece of the Week: Alison Lou’s Cocktail Earrings

They’re the perfect accessory for the most festive time of year.

Groovy and free-spirited, or prim and proper, Alison Lou has a jewel for every taste.

These “Piece of the Week” earrings fall into the latter category, with their childlike, playing-dress-up vibe.

A campy and cute aesthetic is Alison Lou’s bread and butter (or rather, croissant and baguette, two motifs that have a place in the brand’s large mix).

Juicy, lab-created gemstones—including emeralds, sapphires, and rubies, but notably no lab-grown diamonds—are accented with either monochrome or contrasting enamel for a statement effect, perfect for accessorizing festive holiday outfits.

Neon-green enamel provides a brilliant jolt of color tempered by white topaz in this pair, and would make a fantastically fun gift for someone celebrating a November birthday.

Set in 14-karat yellow gold, the Alison Lou “Heart Cocktail Drops” with lab-grown white topaz and neon green enamel sell for $2,450 via custom order on the company’s website.
