Uneek Promotes Shopper to VP of Sales
Cortland Shopper, who spent 12 years at Gregg Ruth, joined the company as a regional vice president a little over a year ago.

Los Angeles--Uneek, the diamond jewelry company started by designer Benjamin Javaheri, announced that Cortland Shopper is its new vice president of sales, effective April 1.
Shopper is a GIA graduate jeweler gemologist who started at Uneek Fine Jewelry in January 2017.
He began his career in the jewelry industry as a bench jeweler setting diamonds and then spent 12 years at Gregg Ruth, rising to the position of director of sales.
When Shopper joined Uneek, he was the regional vice president of sales for the western United States and Canada, covering the major regions in Canada and a dozen U.S. states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
As vice president of sales, he will be responsible for establishing and overseeing all the company’s sales activities, including customer relationship management, key account management and sales force recruitment.
He also will be a member of Uneek’s executive team.
Javaheri said that since Shopper joined the company, he has been successful in boosting the brand’s footprint in his territories and expanding the company’s product portfolio. He also exceeded his sales targets, and participated in line development and process improvement endeavors, which he was not required to do.
“The decision to promote Cortland has solid implication for the next stages of Uneek’s journey toward excellence in service delivery, product development and customer experience, and eventually toward a market-leading position,” Javaheri said.
Cortland can be reached via email at cortland@uneekjewelry.com or by phone, 310-422-7852.
