New York—Police are on the lookout for a gang of men who’ve allegedly pulled off a string of southern California jewelry store robberies in the middle of the day.
The first incident occurred in Ventura, California on July 24. JSA said the first of three suspects entered the store and said he was there to pick up an item on layaway.
When a sales associate went to the back to retrieve the item, the suspect allegedly pulled out a gun and hit him on the head, then tied up and blindfolded him. Two other suspects, one thin and one heavy, then barged into the store and cleaned out the showcases.
