Segal began his career with Napier, later moving on to Bulova, Seiko, and Simon Golub.
He then moved into diamond sales, working with Harry Winston, Kwiat, and, finally, MWI Eloquence, where he worked for the last nine years.
He was a graduate and trustee emeritus of Norwich University in Northfield, Vt., and a commissioned Army officer.
Segal was diagnosed with lymphoma in late November, according to Eloquence.
