New York--Following the appointment of a new CEO, lab-grown diamond company Gemesis Inc. has announced that it is rebranding itself as “Pure Grown Diamonds.”

“The new name reinforces our commitment to disclosure and transparency,” Pure Grown Diamonds President and CEO Lisa Bissell said. “We will continue working to make lab-grown diamonds a choice for consumers and a valuable opportunity for the industry.”

Bissell, whose past employment includes 19 years with diamond wholesaler M. Fabrikant & Sons, was appointed CEO of Gemesis last Wednesday. She will spearhead Pure Grown Diamonds’ rebranding campaign.

According to Pure Grown Diamonds, the rebranding campaign will include an introduction of new products and collections, a concentrated effort on education for sales personnel and consumers, and an improved customer experience on the company’s website and social media platforms.

A renewed commitment to disclosure and transparency is also part of the campaign, the brand said.
