JA Special Delivery Show is Back at the End of Oct.
Just in time for a showcase refresh before the holidays, the show returns to the Javits Center in New York.

New York--Just in time for a showcase refresh before the holidays, the JA New York Special Delivery show returns to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan.
Scheduled for Oct. 29-31, Special Delivery is a cash-and-carry show, aimed at helping exhibitors liquidate their current inventory and retailers stock up on new pieces ahead of the approaching holiday season, which includes four Saturdays this year, and is predicted to see an increase in retail spending.
Vendors represented include both high-end designers and major manufacturing companies, representing a wide spectrum of product and prices.
The show is owned by Emerald Expositions, which also operates the spring and summer editions of JA New York and the Couture show in Las Vegas.
A press release from Emerald included this merchandising advice from retailer Soraya Cayen of Cayen Collection in Carmel, California: “How you merchandise your store is imperative to the success of your business. Re-merchandising older stock, especially if you mix it in with items that are new to the store, gives the client a fresh perspective and keeps them excited to come back.”
“It also allows you and your staff to fall in love with the product you carry all over again, and we all know that genuine enthusiasm from sales associates and store owners goes a long way to closing a sale.”
