Antique show to co-locate with JA NY, MJSA Expo
U.S. Antique Shows announced that the March 2016 edition of Lueur will be held at New York’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center at the same time as both the JA New York Spring and MJSA Expo shows.
New York--The spring 2016 Lueur antique jewelry and watch show will be held at the same time and place as both the JA New York Spring and MJSA Expo shows.
Called Lueur Spring, the event is scheduled for March 13 to 15 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The $20 entry fee to Lueur will be waived for those who have JA New York and/or MJSA badges.
The show will feature more than 100 dealers of antique jewelry and timepieces, spanning all eras of jewelry history and including names such as Cartier, Tiffany & Co., Rolex and Patek Philippe. It is open to both the trade and members of the public
“Producing the Lueur Spring event simultaneously with JA NY and MJSA Expo fulfills a need in the marketplace for access to stunning antique jewelry collections by both consumers and retailers,” said Dan Darby, general manager of U.S. Antique Shows and vice president of Emerald Expositions, which owns both JA New York and U.S. Antique Shows.
“Our mission is to produce timely and unique events that create an energetic vibe about antique pieces, as well as offer our dealers opportunities to broaden their reach in attracting a larger audience.”
The inaugural Lueur show, running from Oct. 23 to 25, will debut later this month in New York at the Javits Center. U.S. Antique Shows said the event was created to bring elite purveyors of highly prized and rare pieces together with retailers and consumers just before the holiday season.
