Zales Picks Up Collection for LGBT Customers
The Love and Pride collection is designed by Udi Behr, who launched the line in 2005.

Akron, Ohio--Zales has picked up an exclusive jewelry collection aimed at the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender demographic, called the Love and Pride collection.
The Signet Jewelers Ltd.-owned retailer said via a spokesperson that, “Having conducted a test in April, we are very excited to be launching the Love and Pride collection as part of our continued efforts to help every guest celebrate life and express love. This collection is truly original and also promotes our commitment to foster a spirit of inclusion for all guests.”
The collection features ladies’, men’s and unisex-style rings and necklaces, ranging from $199.99 retail for an anodized titanium band to $2,999.99 retail for a classic 1-carat diamond engagement ring in 14-karat white gold.
The range’s focus is engagement and anniversary offerings.
Love and Pride is designed by Udi Behr, a New York-by-way-of-Israel jeweler who originally created the collection in 2005, after seeing an interview with then-mayor of San Francisco, Gavin Newsom, in which the politician declared his support of same-sex marriage.
Behr launched Love and Pride to showcase his support of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and now has partnered exclusively with Zales on the collection.
