Per usual, big and bold diamond pieces were the most-seen jewels adorning celebrities at the 86th Academy Awards held Sunday in Los Angeles.

Diamond drop earrings, rings and bracelets were the go-to choice for celebrities (or their stylists, rather), which is expected because the Oscars traditionally features more conservative apparel, versus the Golden Globes, where attire is oftentimes a little riskier.

From Chopard and Forevermark to Brumani and Stephen Webster, truly red-carpet-worthy bling was rolled out for the awards show. As predicted earlier this year, statement pieces have begun to gain popularity over multiple smaller pieces, as stars take a break from layering.
