WJA Colorado Hosting Talk on Lab-Grown Diamonds
Jaime Polk of WD Lab Grown Diamonds will discuss the topic at the chapter’s In The Know conference.
Denver--The Colorado chapter of the Women’s Jewelry Association will host an In The Know conference this May focused on lab-grown diamonds.
Jaime Polk, executive of business development at WD Lab Grown Diamonds and managing partner at 21C Jewelry Solutions, will present an overview of the much-talked-about topic.
The conference, which is scheduled to take place May 17 in Denver, will cover the history of man-made diamonds, the process by which they’re created, and what size, color and clarity of diamonds growers currently can make.
Polk also will talk about the features and benefits of using and/or selling lab-grown stones, including the profit margins possible for jewelers, and how to market them to millennials.
Lastly, she will speak on the future of man-made diamonds and how the stones could affect both the industry and the consumer, and take questions from the audience.
The conference will be held from 5:30 to 9 p.m. in the Limerick Room at the Irish Rover Pub, 54 S. Broadway in Denver.
WJA members and non-members can attend the event, which includes a three-course dinner, complimentary beverage and networking.
Online registration opens April 5. RSVP is required as seating is limited.
