DCA Updates Colored Gemstone Course
The new features include interactive flashcards and scenario-based roleplay with AI tools.

New features include interactive flashcards and knowledge checks to reinforce learning, scenario-based roleplay with interactive artificial intelligence (AI) tools, and enhanced visual design, as well as additional content on gemstone sources, treatments, jewelry styles, and more.
The changes are part of DCA’s ongoing commitment to modernizing education for today’s jewelry professional, the organization said.
The Colored Gemstones Course update was supported by sponsorship from the American Gem Trade Association.
The course comprises 12 lessons created to equip retail team members with the knowledge to build desire, communicate value, and guide confident customer purchases.
It is designed for both new associates and seasoned professionals looking to deepen their gemstone expertise, DCA said.
“DCA has always been committed to providing practical, relevant education for jewelry professionals, and this updated Colored Gemstone course is a major step forward. It strengthens product knowledge while directly supporting confident, effective sales conversations with customers,” said Annie Doresca, DCA president and CEO.
The updated course is now live in DCA’s new learning platform.
