Longtime Supplier Kitsinian Opening Store in CA
It will be located in Santa Clarita, California, and carry the jewelry brands Kitsinian manufactures.

Santa Clarita, California—SA Kitsinian, a supplier to the jewelry industry since the 1970s, will open its first store this fall.
Located in The Promenade at Town Center Valencia (California), Kitsinian Jewelers will be a 3,200-square-foot full-service store. It is scheduled to open after Thanksgiving weekend; company President Arch Kitsinian said the construction schedule did not allow for the store to be done by Black Friday weekend.
It will sell the jewelry lines Kitsinian manufactures, which are not currently carried by any other area jewelry stores: Vanna K bridal and fashion jewelry, Vantani wedding bands, Lori K children’s jewelry and Veneto Gold by Kitsinian.
The store also will carry Alain Philippe Swiss watches, which SA Kitsinian distributes exclusively, as well as “marquee Swiss watch brands.” Arch Kitsinian declined to name any specific brands, saying that deals have yet to be finalized.
The company also recently redesigned its website, Kitsinian.com.
The Kitsinian family started in the jewelry industry in the 1960s when Sarkis Kitsinian, then a teenager, started learning the trade as a bench jeweler in Beirut, Lebanon.
In the mid-1970s Sarkis and his wife, Suzan, moved from Lebanon to Maui, where they opened a jewelry store before relocating to California and getting into the manufacturing side of the business.
SA Kitsinian had a wholesale and manufacturing facility on Hill Street in Los Angeles’ Jewelry District for two decades before moving to a larger facility in Van Nuys, California, and having the next generation step in.
The company manufactures its jewelry in Van Nuys as well as in Europe and Asia.
Arch Kitsinian said opening a store will help the company better understand today’s retail environmental and prepare the business for the next generation, including his children, 11-year-old Lori, who inspires the designs in the Lori K line, and 5-year-old Sarkis Jr.
“My kids have a creative passion for jewelry in their blood and enjoy spending time at our headquarters after school and during summer breaks,” he said. “They’re still too young to understand the challenges that face retail and the consumer demands, so this store will help us better understand that environment and prepare a good foundation for future generations.”
He also noted that SA Kitsinian does not have any wholesale customers in Santa Clarita,
