Roberto Coin enters Panama
The Italian brand has signed an agreement with Latin Jewelers Corp. to distribute its jewelry in the Latin American market and operate a new boutique in Panama City.
Panama--Italian jewelry brand Roberto Coin is launching in Latin America after signing a distribution agreement with entrepreneur Carlos Sultan’s Latin Jewelers Corp.
Latin Jewelers Corp. distributes high-end jewelry and watches throughout South America, Central America and the Caribbean, and will handle Roberto Coin’s products in the market.
The company also will operate a new retail boutique that Roberto Coin is opening in Panama City. Slated to open at the end of the month, the store will carry the full range of the brand’s products and will be located in the Panama Diamond Exchange, which serves as the center of the jewelry and diamond trade in Latin America.
Roberto Coin’s designs include his signature Appassionata Collection, the Pois Moi Collection and the Roberto Coin Cento Diamond Collection. Launched in 1996, the brand currently has more than 1,000 points of sale across 63 countries.
“The identity of the Roberto Coin brand is absolutely unique, for it blends the very finest elements of Italian design and craftsmanship together with the brilliance and flair of the man himself,” Sultan said. “Each item reflects his eye for beauty, in the same way that a great work of art expresses the personality of the creator. It is a privilege to be able to work with him, and to be the channel through which Roberto Coin jewelry is delivered to the fast-growing markets of Latin America.”
