Reza Sells Through Moda Operandi
It’s the first time the high jeweler has been available outside of its atelier in Paris.

New York--For the first time, Reza is expanding beyond its Place Vendôme atelier in Paris.
The high jeweler landed at ecommerce website Moda Operandi last week, in the form of one its “online trunk shows” or limited-time sales.
“We are thrilled to partner with Moda Operandi, whose sophisticated clientele are a wonderful audience for our collection of haute joaillerie,” said President and Creative Director Olivier Reza, who is son of the line’s founder, the late Alexandre.
“For New York, we will be exhibiting a selection of contemporary works that demonstrate the artistic aesthetic, commitment to perfection, and exquisite gemstones that have defined this house for over sixty years.”
The collection for sale on the site encompasses 36 pieces, highlights from Reza’s various collections honed over the years.
It starts at $11,865 for a pair of floral, 18-karat white gold and white round brilliant diamond stud earrings, though most of the selection is priced considerably higher, with a substantial portion retailing for six figures.
The most aspirational is a 27.9-carat carved Colombian emerald pendant suspended beneath a troidia-cut pink sapphire on a long white gold and rhodium necklace accented with a plethora of diamonds and emeralds. The one-of-a-kind piece is priced at $489,090.
Moda Operandi said that its partnership with Reza is the first in its “International Fine Jewelry Series,” a series of sales focusing on a designer’s provenance.
After highlighting Paris with the Reza sale, the e-tailer will go on to feature Vhernier from Piedmont (Italy), Pomellato from Milan and Mikimoto from New York, plus others, in 2018.
Company CEO Deborah Nicodemus commented: “Olivier Reza’s unique creations provide a balance between sophisticated design and exceptional gemstones in a way that offers the jewelry with a strong statement of style and a sense of discovery that is truly special. This is something we know our clients want in all her fashion choices and is why she shops with Moda. We are committed to offering our clients the most covetable and best brands from around the globe, and are thrilled to launch Reza as the first brand in our International Fine Jewelry Series.”
The sale ends on Nov. 25.
Fans of Reza can catch the brand in New York exhibiting at TEFAF, The European Fine Art Fair, through Wednesday.
